[Tip] How to stop the annoying push notification mails from LinkedIn in your Inbox

 

Evey since Linkedin has come into existence connecting to your past and present professional friends, colleagues have become very easy. Linkedin have been very useful for personal branding as well.  The more you get connected the more push notification are received. I , personally, receive atleast 10 notification mails. Some of them are good to know but most of them I already knew , as I am very active on Linkedin.

I do find it annoying , sometimes, to see a huge number of mail notification from Linkedin in the Inbox. However, I wondered if I can get only the notifications about the people comments on my updates and nothing else. It was easy to do that minor tweak in the setting and here is how you can do it too.

1. Go to your linked in profile and Click on the top right thumbnail picture of yous.

2. Click on the ‘Privacy & Settings’.

3. Scroll down and click on ‘Communications’.

4. Further, click on ‘Set push notification settings’ and click on ‘Notifications’.

Now you can deselect any of the options for which you don’t want to see a push mail in you inbox and leave those for which you want to see the notification mail.
